MaNa's artistic ritual, held at the De Seta space at the
Cantieri Culturali alla
Zisa, took the form of a theatrical concert
(with singing and acting voices, guitars, aquatic percussion, and
video art projections on the seabed)
on the theme of climate change (particularly in the context of the
ocean landscape) as an opportunity for a
universal emotional resonance. Music therefore
served as an artistic bridge between the
dry, rational world of the earth and the
ocean, dreamlike, and
irrational collective unconscious. The performance was
accompanied by a discussion between the
artists, the audience, and marine experts from
various backgrounds (biologists, geographers,
urban planners, composers).
